Because of its focus on farmers, the work they do and the results they need, Apache Sprayers’ Applying Trends e-newsletter has been recognized as an outstanding public relations campaign by the central Iowa Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
The annual PRSA PRIME Awards recognize industry leaders and their public relations partners for excellence in producing goal-oriented, focused and relevant content – ranging from email newsletters and magazines to full marketing campaigns – for their specific audiences. Apache’s Applying Trends newsletter was awarded first place in the e-newsletter category based on its underlying strategy, focus on helping farmers perform better in the field, and the results it generated for Apache Sprayers.
Apache Sprayers worked with Des Moines, Iowa-based advertising agency Lessing-Flynn to develop the newsletter with a primary goal of positioning Apache as a thought leader in the agricultural spraying sector through targeted, dedicated content to key industry stakeholders, customers and potential customers. Topics covered in the newsletter include:
- Cost containment and affordability
- Dependability and simplicity
- Field operations and conditions
- Maintenance tips and information
- Machinery marketplace, financing and retaining value
“Our goal is to become the leader in the sprayer industry, and we recognize that thought leadership and things like this e-newsletter are important contributors to reaching that goal,” says Matt Hays, Chief Executive Officer of Equipment Technologies. “This recognition shows that our efforts have been worth the energy we’ve put into them, and we’re excited to see the continued results of Applying Trends.”
