We've built one thing for three decades — the most reliable agricultural sprayers in the world.
We believe value starts with the desire of all ET employees to be excellent at their craft. The result of that excellence lives in our owners' experiences.
Every decision in Mooresville traces back to three principles. They're not slogans — they're how we choose what to build, and what to leave alone.
Our commitment hasn't softened in 30 years. We make state-of-the-art Precision Ag improvements every year that directly benefit productivity, providing better value with each model year. We stand by every sprayer that leaves Mooresville — backed by an industry-leading five-year powertrain warranty.
Horsepower only matters when it reaches the ground. Our AS-Series powertrain with patented Power-to-the-Ground™ technology delivers more usable HP when you need it most. The newly-upgraded Cummins Performance Series V engine adds power and torque for heightened productivity and fuel efficiency — saving you time and saving you money.
We focus our advancements on what makes our sprayers last. Steel breakaway booms. Common components across the entire fleet so a part on one Apache fits another. Mechanical drive that simplifies service. Every engineering choice is weighed against one question: will this still be working in twenty years?
Every Apache that has ever sprayed a field rolled out of this facility — and every one always will.
No retooling between product lines. No competing priorities for floor space. Every shift in Mooresville is a shift on Apaches.
Production begins with the 560 — 500 gallons, a 60-foot boom, a manual transmission, a 110 HP Cummins, and 31 inches of crop clearance.
After the first fifty Apaches are built under contract by SMF in Danville, Illinois, ET buys its own plant in Mooresville, Indiana. Alongside a growing 700–1,200 Series lineup, ET also builds the two-wheel-drive, hydrostatic Cherokee through 2001.
Apache is completely reworked — new hood, cab, electrical, hydraulic, and wet systems — as the AS500, AS850, AS1000, and AS1200.
ET becomes the first self-propelled sprayer maker to offer factory-installed auto boom-height control, and adds factory auto-steer with Raven SmarTrax.
Every Apache goes ISO with automatic boom-section shut-off (Raven AccuBoom) and power brakes. The AS1010 adds a 6-speed JCB power-shift transmission, and ET builds all its own steel booms.
Wider frames, a longer wheelbase, and a new hood, cab, tank, and wet system — plus angled cab entry, ZF transmissions, Cummins Tier 3 engines, and the Raven Envizio field computer.
Pommier all-aluminum booms at 120 and 132 feet become factory-installed options.
The interior of the cab was completely redesigned. With an integrated console, joystick, touch screen, leather seat, reverse camera, Raven Viper 4 field computer.
The AS730, AS1030, and AS1230 bring Tier 4 Cummins power, a redesigned rear boom rack, and factory PWM nozzle control (Raven Hawkeye). In January, Equipment Technologies is acquired by Exel Industries.
ET adds the high-clearance HS700 and HS1100 Bruin — hydrostatic drive, four-wheel steer, and up to 70 inches of crop clearance, built in Europe with final assembly in Mooresville.
A new 600-gallon model with air-bag suspension and front cab entry, a redesigned hood, LED lighting, Raven RS1 auto-steer, and XRT boom-height control with automatic boom fold.
Cummins Stage 5 engines, Capstan PWM, factory front product fill, boom recirculation, and factory Pommier 90- and 100-foot booms.
The HS1100 becomes the HS1150 — now fully manufactured at the ET factory in Mooresville.
A redesigned rear boom rack and active machine suspension, plus a Z-gate joystick, a single brake pedal, and Ag Leader precision.
ET boom auto fold, NORAC boom-height control, and hands-free steering are introduced. Steel booms are retired.
Apache's cab and hood are redesigned once more — a bigger, more comfortable operator's office for the next generation.
